Dr. Rich Bakir graduated
from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in March of
2002.
Prior to attending Palmer he graduated with a B.S.
from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Bakir was
born and raised in Ohio and has brought his mid-west upbringing and
values into his practice. He is active in his community with
such organiztions as Childhaven, Toys-For-Tots, and the Salvation
Army.
In
his practice, he primarily uses what is known as Palmer Package adjusting
which is done with the hands and includes Diversified, Gonstead,
and Toggle Recoil adjusting.
Biophysics and drop table adjusting
are also used in Dr. Bakir’s office along with a variety of
others based on his patients’ needs and comfort. When
needed he also uses extremity adjusting which is a subspecialty in
which the doctor, in addition to working with the whole spine, works
with the different joints of the body such as elbows, shoulders,
wrists, hips, knees, and ankles to provide relief for a myriad of
problems.
Dr. Bakir sees patients of all ages ranging from
newborn to seniors and tailors his touch and technique to each individual's
needs. |
